Lake Powell

My signature pose. My Mom recently put together a slide show of photos for my Dad for Fathers Day. My family was making fun of me because several of the pictures (from when I was a little girl and as recently as 2 years ago) I was making this pose. Ha ha! I think my Dad has it down pretty good...what do you think? We went to Lake Powell last weekend and got lost. It was an adventure! We ended driving all the way up to Bullfrog from Wahweap. It was a 3.5 hour drive one-way. We learned on big lesson that trip: Never go anywhere without a map! We had fun besides the big "adventure" and soaked up a lot of sun.

I'm Blog Happy

This is a picture of what the new temple in South Jordan is going to look like. I am so excited! They broke ground last December and it should be done next year. I love to ride my bike over to see the progress. I can totally picture it...pulling up on my bike to do baptisms for the dead. Ha ha

Happy Belated 4th of July

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! I wish I could say these pictures were from this year but...there not. This was last year up at Sugarhouse Park. Everyone was out of town partying this year. So, I hung out with the family and had a great relaxing night.

Diane from Dingle is no longer Single...

Diane is my idol. She is the sweetest, most talented, and spiritual person I know. She has been a great friend and I am sad that we won't be hanging out as much. My favorite memory of Diane is when we went up to the Idaho hot springs. We shared the last dressing room when we were changing back into our clothes. I am such a prude, so we promised to have our backs to each other. It was fine until we both bent down at the same time and touched bare bums! I have never laughed so hard in my life! These pictures are from her bridal shower that we had last week at our house.

Party in the kitchen! We had some friends come over last Sunday...it was a bunch of fun. I think we played 10 rounds of Catch Phrase.

Home Sweet Home

These were my birthday presents to myself...pots and plants for our front door. I think that shows that I am getting freakin' old!

I thought I would post a picture of our new house. Emily, Annelisa and I bought it together. It was a really big step but I think we are all happy with our decision. I have recently been obsessed with plants...they're my babies;) I have killed a couple but I am still working on my green thumb!

What I've done this past week...

I read this book over the weekend. I rented in from the library (i love the library). It was a good book. P.S I'm always looking for a good book to read. If you find one...LET ME KNOW!

I love made for TV movies. This is Suzanne's Diary to Nicholas by James Patterson. I've read the book and it's really good. I came across the movie at Target and had to buy it. I think you can rent it at Hollywood too. It will make you cry but there is a happy ending.

My brother, Ryan, just introduced me to this show....I think it is hilarious! I had to go to my parents to Tivo all the episodes.

The lego artist

I love legos! I'm the Master of...GO-CARTS! I'm good lookin.

lol! Kade came into work today and caught me updating my blog. He saw his picture that I have up right now and was bummed that I didn't mention how he loves legos. He wanted to post something. So... I let him pick out a picture and write something about himself. I came back to my desk to find this. He cracks me up!

I am obsessed with Bear Grylls

I have a new crush! Bear Grylls! He is on the show Man vs. Wild on the Discovery Channel. They drop him out of an airplane and he has to survive in the middle of no where. There is something about a guy who can get you out of any situation! The only bad thing is he eats bugs for fun. I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

Outlaws

Um...so you can barely see my face but everyone else looks tough. Lets just say...YOU don't want to get on our bad side! Ha! Lagoon was way fun. We waited in line for 1 1/2 hours to ride WICKED the new ride this year. It was awesome...totally worth the wait. But my favorite ride was the Jetstar. It was so hilarious! We fit 7 people on a 6 person ride. Emily ended up sitting on Annelisa's lap and was a whole head and body taller than the rest of us. Everyone in line was laughing at us while Emily was getting jerked around on the ride. I never laughed so hard in my life! We went to Laguna Beach for a couple of hours and ummm....I could not stay on my tube! I freakin' almost drowned several times. I went down one slide and I was going sooo fetchin' fast I almost went up and over but instead I completely flipped over and landed on my face. That wasn't so much fun.

Nortface

I can't believe my little sis is all grown up! Courtney graduated from H.S today. Congrats Court! She is headed off to Utah State University in the fall...I am sure gonna miss her! Especially laughing at all her crazy talents like talking in a really deep voice and making really UGLY faces! I'm so proud!

My Roomies

Emily and Annelisa are two of the funniest and craziest people I know! The past 7 months have been awesome! I love our daily debriefs, impromptu dance parties and watching either American Idol, House or the O.C together! Thanks for all the laughs!
