Ba da ching

This is one of my favorite Kade “Leno” (that's what he calls himself) stories—

When Kade was in Kindergarten he came home one day and told Courtney and me that a boy at recess had said a BAD word. SO (because we were “mature adults”) we asked him what it started with. He said, “B”. AND (because we like to ruin the innocence of young children) we asked him if it rhymed with tastard? (I know, I know, we were TOTALLY corrupting our little brother) He said, “No, but it rhymes with RUBY.” Yep, you guessed it! BOOBIE was the BAD word.

Ok, so the story skips forward a couple of weeks. Kade and I were riding his little Razor scooter around the neighborhood. I was pushing off while he had both his feet on the scooter and resting his bum on my leg in front of me, can you picture it? We went around the neighborhood a couple times before I mentioned that his bum was sweating on my leg. And his response is why I LOVE my little brother. He said, “OH YEAH!!! WELL!!! Your RUBIES keep on hitting me in the head.” I started laughing so hard we both fell of the scooter.
